My name is Mickey (or Michaela, either one is fine), I am an artist/biologist living in Southern Oregon.

Whether I'm in the field collecting data, or in my home studio working on a new piece, I love to use art and design to share stories about the natural world. I have found that visual communication is a powerful tool for expressing ideas that can change how we see the ecosystems and living communities that we share.
